Lanza Italian Collection
In Italy, Sangiovese is the most widely planted red grape variety. It’s the main grape used in the popular red wines of Tuscany, where it is the solitary grape of Brunello di Montalcino and the primary component of the wines of Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and many “Super Tuscans”.
Bright raspberry, cherry, and spice flavors lead in this juicy, fruity wine, which is balanced nicely by plum and brambleberry notes, good acidity, and soft tannins on the palate. It’s a medium to light-bodied wine that has a long finish. It’s a great representation of this classic Italian grape. Serve with beef, chicken, and pasta.
